Karl's diverse professional background and training has helped hone his approach and methodology in conducting case studies, legal research and writing. His legal practice spans civil, criminal, and labor litigation. He is also well-versed in election law, having conducted trainings and seminars as well as having participated in election monitoring activities for partisan and non-partisan organizations.
Prior to founding LP Law with Dan, Karl started the legal profession as a Junior Associate at Medialdea Ata Bello & Suarez Law. Thereafter, he joined government service as a Court Attorney for the Court of Appeals, under now Supreme Court Justice Maria Filomena D. Singh, then as a Legislative Staff Officer for the House of Representatives, under former Deputy Speaker Ferdinand L. Hernandez.
In addition to his legal practice, Karl is also the co-owner of PowerPebbles Homemade Food Retailing (Power Pebbles) and a member of Business Networking International (BNI) Philippines, Titans Chapter. Karl is also a member of the Fraternal Order of Utopia.
Dan is a seasoned labor and employment law negotiator with a strong track record of successfully resolving labor disputes. His legal practice spans civil, criminal, labor, and corporate litigation, as well as trademark enforcement and prosecution. He is also adept at advising high-level management on complex regulatory matters and navigating commercially competitive landscapes.
In addition to his legal practice, Dan is a dedicated academic, teaching Civil Procedure, Torts and Damages, and Constitutional Law at various law schools. He also lectures on Public Policy and Development at the De La Salle University-Dasmariñas School of Governance, Public Service, and Corporate Leadership.
Prior to founding LP Law with Karl, Dan spent a decade teaching political science and international relations at private higher education institutions. He also served as a Paralegal Officer at Santos Paruñgao Aquino and Santos Law Offices and as an Associate at The Firm of Creencia Carillo & Velasco.
